Retraction
This notice is to inform you that the article titled “Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Infection: Microbiology and Antibiotic Prophylaxis” (DOI: https://doi.org/10.18231/j.ijmr.2023.023), published in Volume 10, Issue 3, Year 2023 of the Indian Journal of Microbiology Research, has been retracted at the request of the authors.
The authors have indicated that the necessary permissions from the relevant administrative authorities, including the Head of the Department, were not obtained prior to the use of the data and publication of the article. Additionally, the institution has raised concerns regarding the inclusion of clinically irrelevant information and the premature publication of the article without following the proper administrative review process.
In light of these issues, the decision has been made to retract the article to uphold the integrity of the journal and its publication standards. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to our readers.
